The wife and I are pretty psyched. We both grew up on the Beatles thanks to our Boomer parents. Tonight we’re going to see The Fab Four, a CA-based tribute band who does a combination of near-perfect covers and stage theatrics — they switch up instruments and costumes throughout the set, so it’s like seeing the entire 10+ years of the Beatles in 2 hours. They even work to get the accents and mannerisms right, which is not something your average cover band worries about.

I’m the same way with Fleetwood Mac. That’s the music my parents loved so that’s what I grew up hearing. I got to see them live a few years ago and it was fantastic!

That reminds me, I need to see Steely Dan before they hang it up...
I like Fleetwood, but Stevie’s voice wears me out after a while. I feel the same about John Popper and Blues Traveler, though, nothing against those bands.

I saw Fab Four in Vegas years ago. They were fantastic. First and only Vegas show I ever saw...

Stevie gets all the attention but McVie is the better vocalist. And for all his ego, Buckingham is possibly the best guitarist I’ve ever heard. That solo in The Chain gives me chills.
